Elementary School
The purpose of the School Site Council (SSC) is to review, revise, and approve the school’s annual Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA), a comprehensive plan designed to improve the effectiveness of the school instructional program. The SSC meets several times throughout the year to assess student needs and achievements, review, revise, and approve the SPSA, including categorical budgets, and monitor the SPSA’s implementation. Members of the SSC include the school principal, classroom teachers, other school staff members, and parents/community members. Members of the SSC are elected by their peers.
All parents are invited to attend SSC meetings.
