Dear Parents and Guardians:
Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year at Rolling Hills Elementary School. We are proud of our dedicated, experienced staff and enthusiastic learners! I know that it is hard to believe, however, the first day of school is right around the corner on Monday, August 13th.
As demands and complexities of teaching children increase, it becomes more evident that we all need to work together to insure that our children reach their potential. We believe that all of us – the school and the community – must work together in an extended family environment to insure success for all our students. We believe it is everyone’s responsibility to empower children with the creative, intellectual, and decision-making skills necessary for them to become academically, socially, physically, and emotionally successful and responsible.
With that in mind, you are invited to be an active participant at Rolling Hills School. Whether you are a classroom volunteer, a member of the PTA, special event participation, or member of one of our school communities, you are encouraged to be involved! Research on schools clearly demonstrates that parent participation in their child’s school coincides with a greater likelihood of academic success for their child.
Joining our staff as the members of the new kindergarten team is Mrs. Delila Tirado and Miss. Rebecca O’Connell, our new ABC multiage K/1 teacher is Mrs. Jessica Sapien and our new 3/4 special education teacher is Ms. Patricia Pham. Each of these teachers comes to Rolling Hills with a wealth of knowledge and expertise that will benefit every child at Rolling Hills. Please join us in welcoming them to Rolling Hills!
It is our desire to keep you informed of all that is taking place at school. Up-to-date and additional information will be sent to you through the weekly Sunday phone call and email message and will appear on our . You will also periodically receive text message reminders about events and activities happening on campus. If you have questions or concerns that arise at any time, please do not hesitate to give your child’s teacher or me an emailJuleen_Faur@myfsd.orgor a phone call at 714-447-7795. I look forward to another fantastic year with your students and your family.
With Warmest Regards,
Principal Rolling Hills
